If you are like me and a lot of other homeowners, we tend to put off maintenance issues on our properties. Sometimes to the point of costing thousands in repairs when it’s time to sell. I generally do not think of maintenance, repairs etc as something I need to plan for. Things just happen and I have to get it fixed now and whatever the cost is. Usually higher than I expected. But after listening to Will Wait, owner of Elite Maintenance, I need to adjust my thinking on how I see maintenance. You might want to as well.
On “The Real Estate Show” from October 3, Will shares the usual litany of problems he sees most days as his crews spread out over the Rogue Valley. Siding rot is a common problem, gutters and eves are perennial problems, and don’t forget mold, its always there if you’re not careful.
The list goes on and on. Now, Elite Maintenance handles all those problems and everything else that comes up according to Wait. They are a full-service maintenance company. Wait started the business in 2007.
If I am rental property manager or landlord, I would hire Elite Maintenance to keep my properties maintained from move-in to move-out. According to Will, a lot of his business is doing that, but he has expanded that to include individual residences. Here is how it works. Wait comes out for a free consultation on maintenance needs etc on your property. He comes up with a plan on implementing it. For example a year agreement could be yard maintenance, gutter cleaning, window washing, along with a bathroom remodel or something else in the house. Point being, set aside some maintenance funds so you’re not caught unprepared. Hire professionals like Elite Maintenance who can do the work for you and help maintain the value of your property. It’s will be well worth it. Don’t put needed maintenance off any longer. Get it done. Listen to the radio from from Oct 3. Contact Will Wait via email firstname.lastname@example.org
