Market Talk! S.Oregon Real Estate for Nov. 1
Today is well-known as the “Day of the Dead”, or “All Souls Day.” While its an odd celebration of sorts, our Southern Oregon Real Estate Market is anything but “dead” as we work our way through the Fall Selling Cycle. As you can see from the weekly selling stat below, we are having more pending and closed sales than new listings replacing them. Don’t miss this week’s Real Estate Show. Saturday 10 am KCMX AM 880 when we talk flooring with Jennifer Fleener, a designer from Lipperts Carpet in Medford. Jennifer shares with us the latest colors and trends in flooring and design. Doesn’t matter if you build new or remodel a current home, selecting the right flooring style and color to compliment is the most important thing to do.

There are a lot of misconceptions about buying real estate that keeps many people out of the market. Is it scary, yes, until you know the facts and then buying takes on a whole new approach.
Even though we’re in the Fall Selling Cycle, Real Estate Sales across the USA are up over last year at this time , with the Western US having the highest median home price of $403,000.That figure is above Jackson County’s median price of $295,000.About the only downer this week are Mortgage Interest Rates. The last seven days have seen a rise in 30-year fixed rates at 3.9%. Most rates stayed the same, but three weeks ago this same rate was at 3.65%. Check our rate ranges below. Remember, so much of our market is depending on interest rates remaining below 5%..
Enjoy the upcoming weekend. We are always available to talk or meet up anytime to talk about real estate with you.
